методы критического анализа;
инструменты верификации информации;
Translation - English The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, a project partner, helped to select educational institutions. Motivation was also taken into consideration. To determine it, informational letters were sent to city schools, asking if they were interested in project participation.
The project was launched with a pilot training program, It included the first five target subjects for integrating media skills into them through development of methodological materials for teachers of the selected classes - Ukrainian language (8th grade), Ukrainian literature (8th grade), Ukrainian history (8 class), world history (8th grade) and art (9th grade). It is presumed, these subjects involve interaction with historical sources and their interpretations, work with texts of all kinds and styles, and the visual context in modern ways of consuming information.
The elements of media literacy integrated into program are these:
methods of critical analysis;
information verification tools;
use of media discourse as a subject of analysis for various disciplines.
Tools were used to create a positive image of the institution, in the process of communicating with the media and using media resources in the educational process (see Table 1).

Ukrainian to English: IMPACT OF WORLDWIDE CHARITY WORK ON VOLUNTEERING IN UKRAINE General field: Social Sciences Detailed field: Education / Pedagogy
Translation - English (excerpt) Researchers define the XX century. as a major milestone in the development of the volunteer movement. The first volunteer organizations were established after the end of World War I in Europe. The studies on the voluntary involvement done by the professionals of different profiles in countries with a relatively long history of social work, especially in the United States and Western Europe are of particular interest.
The American model of social work has played a significant role in the development of the profession of social worker and of a volunteer worldwide. The middle of XX century. became a time of "open doors" in American universities, where a great deal of European specialists got training in social work, sociology and psychology. Thanks to this school, many theoretical approaches, concepts and models were developed; technological and methodological techniques that originated in the US have yielded significant results in most European countries. Due to the financial support of philanthropists and the personal contribution of volunteers of different ages and social status, disadvantaged children, orphanages, hospitals for the mentally ill and others were substantially supported. A similar trend can be observed in Ukraine.
The history of the United States shows that women's charitable committees established at hospitals and military hospitals played an invaluable role in the North-South war. Within such charities and committees, the first agencies to provide some social assistance began to appear. Hundreds of women, and with them young people, without financial benefit shared their knowledge and experience with single mothers in raising children, as well as with children deprived of parental care for various reasons. This was the beginning of a new and completely unique social-pedagogical phenomenon - volunteerism or voluntary social service, which gradually spread to all continents. One of characteristics of volunteering in the US is decentralization, which is reflected in the presence and functioning of various social programs at all levels: federal, state, local. Such a programmatic approach has the advantages of responding promptly to the social needs of different categories of population, taking into account local specifics [12]. Ukrainian volunteering could be developing in a similar manner.
