I am a native of Russian, fluent in English, with additional knowledge of Spanish. 

I completed a year in a PhD program at UPenn (USA) in Germanic Languages and Literatures

and completed courses of TV and broadcast journalism at UPenn and NYU.

My main specializations are: simultanesous interpreting from Russian into English and translation/transcreation from Russian into English. I don't do Runglish. I do native speaker's English.

I have worked in mass media as an interpreter, translator, transcreator, writer, editor, doing transcriptions and subtitles of films, series and documentaries, as well as doing voice-over for over 10 years now. 

Most recently, for three years, I was a correspondent for the Rapaport Magazine (USA) in Russia, deliverying monthly market status updates for Russia in English, all published. I have a strong command of the diamond industry terminology.

I have translated multiple books from Russian into English and from English into Russian, all published.

I have worked for the total of 5 years in Sowtware Localization (English into Russian), including at Oracle corp. I performed translation and localization of UI, Translation Quality Asssurance of outsourced translations and maintained terminology glossary.

I have worked for a total of 2 years at major insurance companies as translator and language localization specialist.

I have many years of experience as a conference interpreter. Most recently, for three years, I travelled to provide interpretations for the Russian PMs at international conferences abroad.

I have translated and edited Russia's first English to Russian Dictionary of Commercial Real Estate Terms. I created the English-language version of two Russian real estate B2B magazines for 12 months.
