My name is So Hyun, and I am a trilingual professional with one year of experience in legal translation and research, including experience with CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) Tools. My preferred platform is Memsource Cloud.

I was born in Korea and raised in the U.S., so I speak English and Korean at native/bilingual proficiency. I also speak French at professional fluency. In 2012, I obtained the Diplome DALF C2, the highest diploma of French as a foreign language.

I graduated with a J.D. from Seoul National University, the most prestigious law school in South Korea. In April, I worked remotely as an extern at Shin & Kim LLP, one of the largest law firms in South Korea.

I have a J.D. from Seoul National University; before that, I obtained a B.A. in French Language and Literature from Seoul National University, and also spent a year in Geneva as an exchange student, studying Medieval French Literature.

During law school, as Graduate Research Assistant to my international law professor, I researched and compiled reports on international trade law, in both English and Korean. In addition, I have extensive experience in drafting legal briefs for various international competitions. (Winner of the Korean Jessup and the Asia-Pacific Vis Moot)
