I specialised in Business studies in high school. I acquired administrative, accounting and economic skills during this period.

At the university, as part of my social work curriculum, I studied psychology, sociology and community development. I also learned how to store and organise data.

Since graduation, I have had ten years of experience in various fields. I have learned with humility and have taught others with grace.

On weekends, I do voluntary translation work for TED Translations through the AMARA platform. It gives me joy to help many people get access to such great knowledge.

I also do voluntary translations for Translators Without Boarders. During the Coronavirus pandemic, there has been a high demand for translation of medical documents from English to Portuguese BR.

Informally, translation is part of my everyday activity since I interact with many Brazilians whom I am helping to study English.
