(Jeff Speaking) Hello everyone and welcome to germplasm asset protection training or GAP for short.

(Text Slide) What are germplasm assets?

(Jeff Speaking) When we say germplasm assets, we're talking about seeds, plants, plant clippings, plant parts, and any data or intellectual property about them. These are all Syngenta germplasm assets. Not just our biological material, but also the information in our intellectual investments in them.

(Text Slide) Okay, so these germplasm assets are actually our product?

(Jeff Speaking) These germplasm assets contain the genetic information we need in order to develop Syngenta’s products and sell them competitively to customers.

(Text Slide) What happens if we don’t protect this genetic information?

(Jeff Speaking) If we compromise these assets, we risk losing our market gains and forfeiting the very brand value and product differentiation that makes Syngenta attractive to growers and unique in our market offering.

(Text Slide) It sounds like the security of our germplasm is important to think about.

(Jeff Speaking) When we talk about germplasm assets we always have to be thinking about security. I'm asking you to take this training because we need to reset our mindset about germplasm security. It's the job of every employee and every function at Syngenta whether you work in the field, in a lab, in an office, a greenhouse, wherever you work, it's all of our jobs to safeguard our germplasm against the number of threats.

(Text Slide) Are there some Syngenta scenarios you could share as examples?

(Jeff Speaking) This training will walk you through several scenarios, security breaches that have actually occurred at Syngenta and some breaches that could occur. These breaches can cause serious consequences for the individuals involved. Some of these breaches involve physical germplasm like seeds. Some involve data about germplasm and some involved confidential intellectual property information about our germplasm. Your participation in this training is critical. We need everyone in the seeds organization across the globe to understand how important it is to be aware of their part in keeping Syngenta’s germplasm protected.

(Jeff Speaking) Thank you for your attention during this training program, best wishes.

INTRODUCTION

One Thousand and One Nights is one of the most famous volumes of stories of all time. It is a collection of Middle Eastern, Indian and Persian folk tales that have been compiled for over 1,000 years. Before being written down, the stories traveled, being told and retold by thousands of storytellers. Each storyteller has added and modified the stories to make them as fun and interesting for their audiences as possible
– such is the art of the storyteller!
Each story takes place in the court of King Shahryar, a young king, who is married to Shahrzad, the most famous storyteller of all time. As legend has it, Shahrzad told King Shahryar and his court these stories to keep them entertained, in suspense and to sustain life for over 1,001 nights!
King Shahryar’s younger brother, Shahzaman, and Shahrzad’s younger sister, Donyazad, also live in the court, as does the king’s vizier, Majid, who also happens to be Shahrzad and Donyazad’s father. The youngest member of the family is Maymoon, their pet monkey!

PANIMULA

Nory: Praise the Father.
“The Sun Will Shine Again” Sis. Stephanie

I know the sun is gonna shine again, I know
the sun will shine
It may seem like a month or two
Since you’ve looked up into a sky of blue
Doubts may try to settle in your soul
But even now my friend
The Father’s in control
Just have faith
The sun will shine again
The dark clouds will vanish and the rain will end
There’s a brighter day around the bend
Well, I know the sun will shine again
Settle back a while
And watch the storm blow by
See the darkness fade right before your eyes
Don’t lose heart
Just keep on standing strong
Hope says,
There will come a brand new dawn
Just have faith
The sun will shine again
The dark clouds will vanish
And the rain will end
There’s a brighter day around the bend
Well, I know the sun will shine again
Look ahead with courage
Lay your fears to rest
Take a good look behind you
See God’s faithfulness
Just have faith
The sun will shine again
The dark clouds will vanish
And the rain will end
There’s a brighter day around the bend
Well, I know the sun will shine again
Just have faith
The sun will shine again
The dark clouds will vanish and the rain will end
There’s a brighter day around the bend
Well, I know the sun will shine again
Just have faith
The sun will shine again
I know the sun will shine

Nory: Amen. Praise the Father, Amen.
at pagkatao ng kaniyang nilikhang tao, dito nakita ang hindi nakikitang Diyos, through the manifestation of Adam. Pero hindi naituloy iyon kaya dito itinuloy.
Nory: Yes, amen, opo.
Pastor Q: Kaya dito itinuloy. Kaya ang tawag sa ating lugar is Covenant Mountain Paradise Garden of Eden Restored.
Nory: Amen.
Noreen: Amen.
Nory: Amen, praise the Father.
Pastor Q: Sa aking freedom of
Nory: That’s right, amen.
Nory: Opo, salamat Ama, praise the Father.
Pastor Q: Kaya itong pagkalaglag ng tao, ah,
nangangahulugang nawalay sya ano,
Nory: Opo
So,
Nawala iyon, ‘yung kaniyang innocence, ‘yung state of innocence, kaya nga nagtakip na sila ng katawan eh.
Nory: Opo.
na gaya ng nangyari kaya siya ay pinalayas doon sa Garden of Eden and from that time on, the Garden of Eden was lost at hindi na muling narinig ang tinig ng Diyos.

Pastor Q: Good day
To you Nory and good day to all the children of God across the islands of the Philippines and the whole world. Wherever my voice reaches you right today, my warmest greetings to all of you. Please join me for more than one hour. We will discuss the legacy of these teachings which I know will clear your minds towards the direction of you real salvation. Nory: Amen. Praise the Father, Amen.
Let’s give praise to the proof that the real enlightenment of God through the Son prevails in the whole world. As we continue the legacy of the teachings today, in the previous episode, you highlighted that for real repentance to be effective, people should subject themselves to the powerful Father’s way of cleansing. And in our discussion today, Pastor, can you please explain to us again, about humankind’s fall from grace and how we our connection to our heavenly Father
can be restored.
Pastor Q: We will continue our discussion in our last episodes of Power Line, Nory but before that, I would to greet all of you from here, the Covenant Mountain Paradise Garden of Eden Restored, where I delivered to all of you the legacy of these teachings where, ah, I was called
by the Father within five years in this place, where He told me these teachings which I relayed to this world, and from here, where God's purpose in the Garden of Eden Lost in the Middle east did not come into fruition and it was where Adam fell from grace. Our Heavenly Father continues that purpose here,
He also chose a member of the fallen Adamic race and that is me, and from here, He is able to continue his aborted purpose for humankind to develop their knowledge of Him, and to be loyal to Him and to be the manifestation of His unseen form
and the character of the humankind He created, that this is where the unseen God has been seen, through the manifestation of Adam. But that did not come into fruition so He had planned to continue that here.
Nory: Yes, amen.
Pastor Q: He had planned to continue that here. That's why our place is called Covenant Mountain Paradise Garden of Eden Restored.
Nory: Amen.
Pastor Q: This became Covenant Mountain because it was in this mountain where the agreement was signed, the understanding that was signed by our
Heavenly Father as the Begotten Son 2,000 years ago, which I also signed.
Noreen: Amen.
Pastor Q: As the representative of the fallen Adamic race that includes the 7 billion people in humanity who are now the chosen children, this became the point of salvation or standard of salvation. The Jewish Age at Church Age has been set aside because they too failed
to follow what they should have followed so that the spiritual component may be bestowed upon them.
Nory: Amen.
Pastor Q: And it did not happen to them that's why they were forsaken, the kingdom was taken from them and I became the trusted one, and I am truly grateful to our Heavenly Father because I am succeeding,
Nory: Amen, praise the Father.
Pastor Q: in my freedom of
Choice to follow His great will in everything that He has spoken before me through fire in this mountain, everything was fulfilled, Satan also paid me a visit for five years and made my life difficult so that I would grow weak in my devotion towards the divine will of God and so that I won’t be able to receive
what it was that I had to receive. But Satan failed in this regard.
Nory: That’s right, amen.
Pastor Q: So it transpired, what the Sacred Scripture said, that through the disobedience of one, everybody sinned and died. However, also through the fulfillment of one, everybody lived and received salvation at this is what we are discussing today.
Nory: Yes, thank you God, praise the Father.
Pastor Q: So this is the fall of man from grace, ah,
it means, he was separated,
Nory: Yes
Pastor Q: from the Father’s will because of his disobedience, and that is why he was not able to fully know his Creator and Satan dragged him and made him humankind’s god. That’s why humankind followed what he wanted. This is what happened when Adam and Eve disobeyed the will of our Father, tha they should have followed the instructions given them but that did not happen. So,
their state of innocence disappeared, the state of innocence means that nothing else is known but the will of the Father. That disappeared, his innocence, the state of innocence, that’s why they suddenly covered their bodies.
Nory: Yes.
Pastor Q: Because they were already guilty, innocence has fled them. Whereas using his freedom of choice, he ceased to follow the will of the Father
which was what happened that’s why he was cast away from the Garden of Eden and from that time on, the Garden of Eden was lost and never again was God’s voice heard. He was already separated, he couldn’t hear God’s will any longer.
Nory: Amen.
Pastor Q: The act of disobedience resulted in his spiritual death. Spiritual death is when you become separated from Him.
Nory: Amen.
Pastor Q: And you will never again hear His voice.

In Ontario, we don’t ask where you came from – we ask where you are going and what you need to succeed.
Did you know more than 30,000 people graduate from private career colleges (PCCs) each year?
This number could be higher if the rules were fair.
The world wants a Canadian education
But right now, there are barriers to international students getting their education from a PCC in Ontario and staying in the province.
YOU CAN STUDY HERE BUT YOU CAN’T WORK HERE
Ontario’s employers need skilled newcomers in order for the economy to grow.
Unfortunately, PCC international students are not eligible for post-graduation work permits, which are available to students at publicly funded institutions.
This is a major barrier to attracting skilled people to our province and country.
WE CAN HELP BRIDGE THE TRAINING GAP
Canada is facing a skills shortage.
It needs more of everything.
This is where PCCs can help, but they must be on a level playing field.
PCCs must be allowed to train registered nurses, Ontario needs to include PCCs in their apprenticeship model and tuition assistance should not be capped.
STATS:
More than 2/3 of students are older than 25 and majority are employed prior to enrolling.
1 in 10 enrolled at a PCC are international students
69% of PCC students are women
52% enroll at their PCC because it offers the programs they want, citing small class sizes, flexible enrollment dates and expedient training as appealing motivators.
CONTACT YOUR MPP
Let’s change things right now.
The most direct way to do this is to write to your Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) and let them know what you think.
Let them know that private career colleges can and want to do more to help people achieve their dreams.
Our students are different.
They are primarily older, female and have recently arrived in Canada.
PCCs give people who are not comfortable in public colleges hope for a second chance at a fulfilling career and a new life.
They give that single mom the ability to provide for their children and new Canadians the opportunity to build their future.

Foot Deformity
Foot deformity is a change in normal foot shape.
There are many causes of foot deformity.
Some people are born with less-than-ideally shaped feet.
However, factors associated with foot deformity in people with diabetes include stiffening of the joints, wasting of muscles or collapse of the joints (Charcot) due to changes in foot sensation or injury.
Other factors that result in changes to shape of the foot are surgery, amputation, bone infection and improper shoe fit.
Deformity can put your foot at risk of a wound.
This is because the deformity causes increased pressure on certain areas of the foot; the skin may break down and cause a wound.
The chance of developing a wound is much greater if you have a loss of sensation in your feet (this is known as neuropathy).
It is difficult to find the right shoes when you have deformity.
Shoes that aren’t properly fitted may cause further injury or wounds if they rub or pinch your feet.
If you have any loss of sensation and changes in the shape of your feet, it is important to have a professional fit you with the right pair of shoes and/or orthotics.
Please be sure to wear your shoes all the time, inside and outside for foot protection.
Be sure to check that there are no objects (pebbles, for example) in your shoes before you put them on.
Whatever the cause of your deformity, it is important to work with a foot care specialist to find properly fitted shoes that will protect your feet and prevent any further injury.
Causes of foot deformity in people with diabetes:
Genetics

Bio

Despite being in the industry for 15 years, I am new to Proz because my plate was brimming, working full-time for my clients. But in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, I found myself with extra time to work and I thought that being a member of Proz.com was a good recourse.

I am a professional teacher with a major in English, and I have worked as a Lead Linguist for a few companies throughout the course of my career.

I have extensive experience in translation, and if we were to label metrics as "wordsmith" for someone who has translated more than 8 million words, then I would fit the bill.

Aside from translating, I create/have created language courses for an American and Japanese company. I also have experience working as a language quality rater for a prestigious organization in the U.S.

My greatest advantage as a bidirectional translator of English <><> Tagalog is that I am a native speaker of both.
