2. 이매진컵: 마이크로소프트가 지난 2003년부터 전세계 학생들을 대상으로 매년 진행하는 IT 기술 경진대회입니다. 매년 공익적인 주제를 두고 학생들의 참신하고 혁신적인 아이디어를 소프트웨어를 통해 구현하고 있습니다. 그간 대회를 통해 좋은 결과를 기록했던 한국은 2010년 ‘기술을 통해 난제를 해결하라’는 주제를 두고 차세대 웹 부문에서 우승하였습니다.
3. 얼마 전부터 Google과 함께 미래 웹 서비스의 주도권을 둘러싼 경쟁을 치열하게 펼치고 있는 Facebook에서 자사의 SNS 서비스에 적용해서 사용자 체감 속도를 크게 향상시킨 BigPipe라는 이름의 새로운 웹 페이지 처리 기술을 최근에 공개했다.
4. 이렇게 웹이 복잡해질수록 서버와 클라이언트간의 웹 처리 성능은 그만큼 더 중요해지고 있으며, 이런 요구에 대해 다양한 웹 최적화 방법이 이미 공개되어 있고 실제로 많은 사이트들이 이 방법을 적용하여 매우 큰 효과를 보고 있다.
Translation - English 1.Founded in 2006, Bloter.net is one of the main specialized media outlets in Korea. Bloter is a portmanteau that is coined from a combination of the words Reporter and Blogger. It indicates a new form of journalism that combines a blogger’s analytical skills and a reporter’s event-coverage ability.
2.Imagine Cup: It’s an IT technology competition hosted by Microsoft since 2003 which brings together students from around the world. Every year, students try to express their creative and innovative ideas revolving around a theme that tackles public welfare problems through software development. Korea has done well in the past competitions and in the 2010 contest themed ‘Imagine a world where technology helps solve the world's toughest problems.’, won the 1st place in Next Generation Web Award.
3.In the race to become the next pioneer of the web service with Google, Facebook launched not long ago its new web page processing technology named BigPipe which was used by its own social media service to significantly improve the speed perceived by the user.
As the web gets more complicated, the web processing performance between the server and the client becomes more important as a result. There are various openly known web optimization methods that aim to meet this need and many websites are already applying these methods with very positive results.
