All items within a Biosafety cabinet, including equipment, should be surface-decontaminated and removed from the cabinet when work is completed.
All liquid waste that is collected in a bottle must be disinfected with 1000ppm chlorine solution for at least 30 minutes and discarded following the local regulations.Use the arrows to navigate through the pictures.
Discard all disposables in the waste bag and poor disinfectants in the waste bag before closing with tape or closing strips.
Clean the outside of the waste bag with disinfectants and remove it from the Biosafety cabinet.
Discard the bag in an autoclavable waste bin or in a medical waste container.
The interior surfaces of the Biosafety cabinet should be decontaminated after each use.
Before switching of the Biosafety cabinet, wait for at least 5 minutes.
