Bio
I came to
Indonesia in 2003 and worked for a few years as a dive instructor, but actually,
I knew already after a month or two after arriving that for sure I would be
staying here longer. I decided to open up a dive center in South Lombok, then 3
years later a second one at Belongas Bay.
Since tourism has
now been struck by the global pandemic it's time for me to re-evaluate my career
and utilize my language skills. Being German/American in origin I have an
effective grasp of English, as well as German, language at a native level.
I have had quite
some translation-, as well as language teaching, experience. Dealing with
international guests and local staff made it necessary to translate, interpret,
as well as teach English and German on an ongoing basis. So now the time has
come to make translating into a full-time career.
