Source text - English SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is used to efficiently manage inventory in a Warehouse and for supporting processing of goods movement. It allows any company to control their Warehouse’s inbound and outbound processes and movement of goods in the Warehouse.
The main process in a Warehouse is incoming and outgoing materials, goods receipt and goods issue, fulfil customer orders, and distribution of goods. When a company doesn’t store any goods, then there is no need of Warehouse management to manage goods.
Inbound process involves storage of goods in warehouse and their location and Outbound process involves picking up the goods. Whenever a material is stored in a warehouse, it is stored in the storage bin and you can find its current location.
With the help of SAP EWM all the goods movement are controlled by a warehouse management system and provides you the tools to monitor warehouse activities. You can also manage additional functions in the Warehouse like creating a serial number, batch number, vendor management inventory, resource optimization and value added services.
Deployment Options in SAP EWM
SAP EWM can be considered as a deployment to an ERP server or you can also consider it as an application in the Supply Chain Management landscape.
SAP Extended Warehouse Management is integrated with ERP to access transaction and master data. Use of features like slotting, and availability check also requires its integration with CRM.
It is considered as a separate application and shares the same server with the SCM applications. You can also run SAP EWM in its own SCM environment which is suitable to get improved performance.

Source text - Korean 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 제11차 한-미 방위비분담특별협정(SMA)과 관련해 한국이 제시한 금액을 자신이 거부했다며 한국이 더 부담해야 한다고 압박했다. 한-미 간 협상은 구체적인 차기 일정도 잡히지 않고 있어 최종 타결까지는 시간이 걸릴 것으로 보인다.
트럼프 대통령은 20일(현지시각) 오후 백악관에서 연 코로나19 관련 언론 브리핑에서 한-미 방위비분담금 협상과 관련한 질문을 받고 “그들(한국)이 우리에게 특정 금액을 제안했는데 나는 거절했다”며 “왜냐면 우리는 (한국에) 엄청난 서비스를 하고 있기 때문이다”라고 대답했다. 협상 실무 선에서 잠정 합의까지 갔던 방위비분담금 협상을 막판 트럼프 대통령이 거부해 타결에 이르지 못했다는 사실을 공식화한 셈이다. 앞서 는 한국이 방위비분담금을 전년 대비 최소 13% 인상하는 안을 제시했지만 트럼프 대통령이 거부했다고 보도한 바 있다.
트럼프 대통령은 한국에 대해 “텔레비전, 선박 등 모든 걸 만드는 매우 부유한 나라”라며 “우리는 그들에게 우리가 하는 것의 큰 퍼센티지에 대해 비용을 낼 것을 요구하고 있다”고 말했다. 또 한국이 현재 1년에 주한미군 주둔비용으로 약 10억달러를 부담한다며 “나는 지난해에 ‘이건 일부이기 때문에 (내년에) 다시 얘기하자’고 했다”고 덧붙였다. 한국은 지난해 방위비분담금으로 1조389억원을 냈다.
Translation - English US President Donald Trump demanded that South Korea pay more for US military presence, with regard to the 11th Special Measures Agreement, citing that he rejected the sum South Korea offered for defense costs. It might take longer until the two sides seal the cost-sharing deal since It it is unclear when Korea and the US will come back to the negotiating table.
During the COVID-19 press briefing (April 20th), when being asked about the negotiation on defense cost-sharing with South Korea, President Trump said, “They’ve offered us a certain amount of money, and I have rejected it”, citing that the US is “doing a tremendous service.”
Through these remarks, President Trump officially acknowledged that he had intervened to thwart the tentative agreement which had been reached by the working-level officials.
Reuters previously reported that President Trump has turned down Seoul's offer of an increase of at least 13 percent from last year's cost-sharing deal, the Special Measures Agreement (SMA), Reuters reported.
“South Korea is a very wealthy nation. They make our television sets. They make ships. They make everything. [. . .] We’re asking them to pay for a big percentage of what we’re doing.” said President Trump. “Last year, I went to them and now they’re paying a billion dollars a year. I went to them again, I said, ‘Look, I’ll be back because that’s just a fraction.’”, he added. Last year, South Korea paid 1.389 trillion won for the stationing of US troops.
