Started out as proofreader for several years on a freelance basis. Translated articles, manuals and books, currently on a freelance project basis, specializations see below.

Rates depend on subject and language pairs, starting at €0.06 per word (e.g. a DVD manual in Word w/ Trados use, English-Dutch) to €0.09 per word (e.g. a list of technical terms in Excel w/o Trados use, Dutch-German). Fixed prices (per job) are negotiable for larger projects (5k words up).

Language pairs EN-NL, DE-NL, NL-EN, NL-DE (except some subjects, at least medical texts, also: EN-DE, DE-EN).

Please do not waste your or my time v.v. by making offers substantially lower than the rates quoted.
