Pedrinho
É o neto querido de Dona Benta, o primo querido de Narizinho. Tem 10 anos, mora e estuda na cidade e o que mais gosta no mundo é passar as férias no sítio da vovó. Adora também café com bolinho de frigideira preparados pela Tia Nastácia. É um menino de grande coragem. Não tem mesmo medo de nada. Quando apareceu uma onça, ele organizou uma caçada e trouxe a bicha morta. Foi o único que conseguiu pegar um Saci e conhecer os mistérios da noite na floresta.
Saci
Nas cidades e nas roças, todo mundo tem medo de Saci. É um perneta muito safado que adora fazer estripulias nos terreiros das fazendas e assustar os animais no pasto. Pedrinho, que não tem medo de nada, conseguiu caçar um com a peneira e colocá-lo na garrafa, como ensinou um velho caboclo das vizinhanças. Mas logo devolveu a liberdade ao Saci e ficaram amigos. O Saci ensinou a Pedrinho os segredos da floresta.
Emilia
É uma boneca de pano feita pela Tia Nastácia, com olhos de retrós preto, sobrancelhas lá em cima. Era muda até que engoliu a pílula da fala inventada pelo doutor Caramujo. A partir daí, fala como uma matraca. Emília é muito independente, a tal ponto que ela mesma se auto define como "independência ou morte".
