Semantyczna sieć składa się z 3 podst. składników, języków znaczników, ontologii oraz środków inteligentnych. Ontologie wspierają inteligentne środki dostępu, wyszukiwania i integrowania informacji ze źródeł rozproszonych oraz podejmowanie decyzji. Technologia sieci semant. wciąż raczkuje z powodu braku standardowych narzędzi modelowania ontologii. Obecne narzędzia modelowania ontologii są oparte głównie o sztuczną inteligencję i nie są zbyt użyteczne dla ekspertów tej dziedziny. Standardy modelowania inżynierii oprog. jak UML i MDA, używane do projekt. syst., mogą być również użyte do mod. dziedziny wiedzy środków semantycznej sieci. Modele UML są modelami graficznymi, skutkiem tego łatwo jest wprowadzać zmiany do modeli i są one łatwo zrozumiałe dla ludzi. Modeling Technique
Abstract
The semantic web has three basic components; markup languages, ontologies and intelligent agents. The ontologies assist intelligent agents to access, retrieve and integrate the information from scattered sources and make decisions. The semantic web technology is still in its infancy and lacks standard visual ontology modeling tools. The present ontology modeling tools are mostly based on the artificial intelligence principles and are not very useful for the domain experts. The software engineering modeling standards like UML and MDA used for system design can also be used to model the domain knowledge of the semantic web agents. The UML models are graphical models hence it is easy to make any changes to the models and are very easily understood by human beings. The software engineering community has huge expertise and very good commercial tool support. The UML class diagram provides a static modeling capability in the form of classes, attributes, methods, relationships and cardinalities that is integral part of knowledge representation. The development of domain ontologies for semantic web based digital library is a core issue. The digital libraries of the future will achieve interoperability among its smaller, independent systems and subsystems by use of appropriate domain ontologies. The visual ontology modeling tools for the semantic web based digital library is a core research issue. The UML domain ontology model has been developed using Rational Rose tool for digital library domain. The mapping from UML model to OWL is possible because of the XSLT technology. The w3c and OMG approaches for ontology modeling have been discussed. The use of behavioral UML models for modeling other aspects of the semantic web has also been suggested.

Source text - English The LCD provides a real-time display of user-set functions and battery status, as shown and described in detail in Section 3.
The unit has audible chirp/beep feedback in addition to the visible LCD Output Stimulus Pulse Indicator. If for any reason (lead connection, device fault, dying battery, etc.) the output current is less than the displayed mA value for four sequential pulses, a six beep open lead alarm will sound once per second.
The Stimulus Amplitude Control dial provides variable current control (0.05 to 5.0 mA in the LOW output range or 0.05 to 80 mA in the HIGH output range). All other controls on the face of the unit are buttons. Depending upon the output range in use, any of the available modes is activated by pressing the button for that mode. The buttons are shown and described in detail in Section 3.
The operating modes and associated patterns for the HIGH and LOW output ranges are described below and on the following pages.

Source text - English PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The PR84200 gauge system uses four measurement heads, whose optical operating principle is shown hereafter.
The rolled product whose profile is to be measured flows inside the gauge.
Each measurement head contains, on one side, a LASER source in which a very short high-intensity pulses of coherent light are produced at fixed time intervals. The optical system used to generate the LASER beam has no moving parts.
The laser beam is projected onto the surface of the rolled product thus outlining its profile.
A high-resolution CCD camera is installed on the other side of the measurement head to observe the profile. It is positioned at a 40° angle with respect to the LASER source and at a 50° angle with respect to the rolled product feeding direction.
The short duration of the LASER pulse (typically a fraction of a millisecond) and the use of a shutter, ensure accurate profile detection even in case of vibrations.
The optical unit of the camera is equipped with a narrow band interference filter which eliminates the infrared emissions produced by the hot bar or other light sources outside the wavelength of the LASER light source.
The image of the profile acquired by the camera is converted into a video signal and sent to the Supervisor.
The four heads, geometrically placed in different positions around the rolled product, collect the information along its perimeter.
Software algorithms and recognition techniques are used to accurately determine the profile of the inspected product and determine its shape and dimensions.
The product is measured in hot condition. The effect of thermal shrinkage is compensated in order to determine the dimensions of the product at ambient temperature (20°C, 68°F). To do this, the system needs to know the temperature of the bar and the thermal expansion coefficient of the specific steel grade.

Układ przyrządu PR84200 zawiera cztery głowice pomiarowe, których zasada działania przedstawiona jest poniżej.
Walcowany produkt, którego profil należy zmierzyć, jest przesuwany pod przyrządem pomiarowym.
Każda głowica pomiarowa zawiera, po jednej stronie, laser, który w ustalonych przedziałach czasu wytwarza bardzo krótkie impulsy spójnego światła o wysokiej intensywności. Układ optyczny używany do generowania wiązki laserowej nie zawiera żadnych ruchomych części. Wiązka laserowa pada na powierzchnię walcowanego produktu oświetlając jego profil.
Po drugiej stronie głowicy pomiarowej zainstalowana jest kamera CCD o wysokiej rozdzielczości do obserwacji profilu. Kamera jest ustawiona pod kątem 40° w stosunku do osi lasera i 50° w stosunku do kierunku podawania walcowanego produktu.
Krótki czas impulsu laserowego (typowo: ułamek milisekundy) oraz użycie migawki zapewniają dokładne wykrywanie profilu nawet w przypadku wibracji.
Zespół kamery jest wyposażony w wąskopasmowy filtr interferencyjny, który eliminuje promieniowanie podczerwone wytwarzane przez gorący pręt lub przez inne źródła światła poza długością fali światła lasera.
Obraz profilu zarejestrowany przez kamerę jest przetwarzany na sygnał wideo i wysyłany do systemu nadzorującego (Supervisor).
Cztery głowice, rozmieszczone wokół walcowanego produktu, zbierają informację o kształcie obwodu profilu.
Algorytmy programu oraz techniki rozpoznawania obrazu służą do dokładnego określenia profilu kontrolowanego produktu oraz jego kształtu i wymiarów.
Produkt jest mierzony na gorąco. Wykonywana jest obliczeniowa kompensacja rozszerzalności termicznej, aby określić wymiary produktu w temperaturze otoczenia (20°C, 68°F). W tym celu system musi znać temperaturę produktu oraz współczynnik rozszerzalności cieplnej użytego gatunku stali.

The present technical specification describes the technical characteristics, the operation modes and the instructions for a correct installation of an assembly consisting of S.C.R. stabilized rectifiers designed for the direct supply of loads at 110Vdc and the simultaneous charge of one battery bank.
The equipment basically consists of the following units:
pc.1 Totally controlled rectifier ,designed to perform the floating charge of a battery under normal operating conditions, and to simultaneously feed the d.c. circuits.

pc.1 Storage battery composed of 54 cells VRLA , having a capacity of 61Ah/10h.
The equipment described above is installed within 3 metal panels made of flanged steel plate to be opened from the front side means of hinged doors supplied with key lock and serviced from the sides and the rear through removable panels fastened with screws. - The default username is ‘admin’. The default password is blank.
