I am a New York based freelance Portuguese translator, simultaneous and consecutive interpreter and voice talent. I specialize in Portuguese for Europe and Africa and also work in Brazilian Portuguese, especially in conference interpretation.
I have experience in subtitling, one of my favorite fields of translation. My language skills and experience allow me to work in a variety of situations, from editing Portuguese translation scripts on the spot to sight-translating a transcription of a conference or interpreting over the phone. I also interpret training courses on site. I am a court interpreter and a language consultant for the New Jersey AOC.
I have experience interpreting and translating for various UN agencies and UN Missions.
