My name is Jeong eun Kim, a freelance subtitler with six years of experience. I am currently living in Seoul Korea,.

My main area of the expertise is Korean subtitles to English materials for DVDs, Movies, TV shows and documentaries for cable channels. Working with several different agencies for past six years, I am very well accustomed to spoken English as well as cultural background knowledge which are essential for movie translation. Also being a native Korean with a solid educational background in Humanities, I am very well equipped with excellent Korean that is necessary to be a good translator. I have plenty of work experience in subtitling, dubbing translation, proofreading, editing, spotting and transcription.
