My name is Yevgeniya Haughey. I am a freelance translator and interpreter of English, Russian and Ukrainian. I also do translations from French into Russian or Ukrainian.

I was born and raised in Ukraine in bilingual family (Russian and Ukrainian), graduated bilingual Secondary School and the State Institute of Foreign languages where I studied Russian, Ukrainian, English and French, also Interpreting and Translating, Psychology and Foreign literature. Many subjects were learnt on French and English which helped me in my professional career as Translator and Interpreter.

I have the Diplomas in profound study of French language from the Department of Education of France: DELF – diplôme d’études en langue française, DALF – diplôme approfondi en langue française

I worked as Interpreter and Translator in few private societies in Ukraine. During this period I was on missions in France, UK, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and Hungary. I interpreted many negotiations using all four languages. Also I translated lots of business correspondence, contracts, agreements, booklets, promotional and advertising literature. I also worked as a freelance translator in few translating agencies and marriage agencies.

I live and work in the UK (Northern Ireland) since 2004. Currently I work as a full time freelance (self-employed) Translator and Interpreter from home where I have all I need for my work (PC with MS Office, Adobe and Norton Antivirus, Internet connection, new HP printer, scanner and copier).

I am available for interpreting in Northern Ireland, UK and abroad.

Translating is my main hobby as well as my job. I enjoy the work I do so fare and I am always looking to learn something new
