The target reservoirs are generally very deep in the Block Area and the formation pressure and temperatures are abnormally high that creates well control and borehole stability challenges during drilling and production testing operations. Moreover, multiple water aquifers were penetrated in the shallow sections where mud losses are highly anticipated.
Worldwide and local shortage of experience:
The oil price and demand increased significantly during the last three years and, hence exploration, development, and production activities’ costs also increased.
AAA suffered from this phenomenon, because a high percentage of the personnel of the oilfield service companies, which were contracted by AAA, are either new or with insufficient level of experience.
Worldwide and local shortage of Equipments and Materials:
For the same reason mentioned above, the oilfield service companies working for AAA suffered from shortage of equipment, which created a serious equipment maintenance problem and, hence the equipment failure frequency significantly increased.
Additionally, lead-time required for delivery of materials and supplies almost doubled during the last three years, due to the high increase in worldwide demand.

Более того, в неглубоко залегающих толщах были вскрыты многочисленные водоносные горизонты, где весьма высок риск поглощения бурового раствора.
Недостаточный опыт, имеющийся в регионе и в глобальном масштабе:
Цены на нефть и спрос значительно выросли в течение последних трех лет и, в результате, затраты на геологоразведку, разработку и добычу также увеличились.
Компания «AAA» подверглась негативному влиянию этого явления, потому что большая доля персонала нефтесервисных компаний, привлеченных компанией «AAA» на подрядной основе, либо новые, либо имеют недостаточный опыт.
