따라서 여기에서 관심을 끄는 것은 기업내 핵심 데이터의 보존 및 복구 방안이다. 14TB에 이르는 1일 단위 데이터의 백업과 복구를 어떤 형태로 할 것인가도 국내는 물론 해외에서도 찾기 힘들기 때문이다.
Translation - English The PI system at POSCO uses Oracle 11i as the core ERP solution and has integrated other packages such as Maximo and SCP (Supply Chain Planning) to share and access the corporate resources and information throughout the entire organization in real time. The transaction volume created from some 40 different ERP modules is enormous, adding to a rapid accumulation of data on a daily basis. Therefore, the protection and recovery of the core data of the corporate become critical issues. It is difficult to find a case study on how to protect and restore data that accumulate at the pace of 14TB a day -whether domestically or internationally.
