The practicalities of such measures, however, may not be so simple, as Muslims derive from numerous ethnic, social and cultural backgrounds.
With moderate Muslims not prepared to challenge the radical face of Islam in Britain, it is time that they at least prepare themselves to put up with minor inconveniences, which incidentally would make air travel safer for them and their families along with all other passengers, since terrorists would not spare them on the basis of their religious background.
Its time for British Muslims to either take some responsibility for the actions of their co-religionists and stand up to extremism or put up with a changing Britain.

The word "Police" means, generally, the arrangements made in all civilised countries to ensure that the inhabitants keep the peace and obey the law. The word also denotes the force of peace officers (or police) employed for this purpose.
In 1829 Sir Richard Mayne wrote:
"The primary object of an efficient police is the prevention of crime: the next that of detection and punishment of offenders if crime is committed. To these ends all the efforts of police must be directed. The protection of life and property, the preservation of public tranquillity, and the absence of crime, will alone prove whether those efforts have been successful and whether the objects for which the police were appointed have been attained."
In attaining these objects, much depends on the approval and co-operation of the public, and these have always been determined by the degree of esteem and respect in which the police are held. One of the key principles of modern policing in Britain is that the police seek to work with the community and as part of the community.
Origins of policing
The origin of the British police lies in early tribal history and is based on customs for securing order through the medium of appointed representatives. In effect, the people were the police. The Saxons brought this system to England and improved and developed the organisation. This entailed the division of the people into groups of ten, called "tythings", with a tything-man as representative of each; and into larger groups, each of ten tythings, under a "hundred-man" who was responsible to the Shire-reeve, or Sheriff, of the County.
The tything-man system, after contact with Norman feudalism, changed considerably but was not wholly destroyed. In time the tything-man became the parish constable and the Shire-reeve the Justice of the Peace, to whom the parish constable was responsible. This system, which became widely established in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, comprised, generally, one unarmed able-bodied citizen in each parish, who was appointed or elected annually to serve for a year unpaid, as parish constable. He worked in co-operation with the local Justices in securing observance of laws and maintaining order. In addition, in the towns, responsibility for the maintenance of order was conferred on the guilds and, later, on other specified groups of citizens, and these supplied bodies of paid men, known as "The Watch", for guarding the gates and patrolling the streets at night.
In the eighteenth century came the beginnings of immense social and economic changes and the consequent movement of the population to the towns. The parish constable and "Watch" systems failed completely and the impotence of the law-enforcement machinery was a serious menace. Conditions became intolerable and led to the formation of the "New Police".

LA MEDITERRANIA COM A FONT D’INSPIRACIÓ
El mar Mediterrani és i ha estat font d’inspiració per als pobles que hi han habitat. Egipcis, grecs, romans, fenicis, turcs, catalans i tants d’altres han nascut, crescut i evolucionat amb aquest denomidaor comú.
La benevolença del seu clima, la lluminositat del seu cel, la força dels seus colors han contribuit de manera indiscutible a la forja del caràcter mediterrani; comunicatiu, alegre i creatiu.
Per a Catalunya el mar va ser una via, un camí d’expansió, de comunicació, i de comerç. A través del Mediterrani es van exportar els seus productes i es van fomentar els contactes culturals. Tot plegat ha enriquit homes i cultures d’una i altra riba i ha contribuit també a formar un caràcter, una manera de ser emprenedora, extrovertida i amb tocs de genialitat.
Exemples d’aquesta genialitat la trobem en pintors com Casas, Rusiñol, Miró, Dalí, Picasso, Tàpies, o Barceló. Músics com Pau Casals, Albèniz o Martín Soler. Grans xefs com Ferran Adrià, Carme Ruscalleda o Santi Santamaria. Arquitectes com Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner, Puig i Cadafalch o Jujol, que han sabut incorporar a les seves creacions la llum, el color i la força de l’entorn.
Artistes arrelats a la terra que han crescut cap a la universalitat exhibint com estandart la marca del Mediterrani.
En l’arquitectura actual és molt evident la lliçó apresa de l’arquitectura popular forjada a força d’històra i d’interculturalitat. L’aprofitament de l’energia, l’adaptació als diferents entorns, el foment de la comunicació entre veïns, etc. Ensenyaments apresos al llarg de la història i millorats ara pels avenços tecnològics.

Sin que afecte a nuestra opinión de auditoría, llamamos la atención respecto de lo señalado en la nota 28 de la memoria adjunta, donde se indica que se ha producido la fusión por absorción entre xxxxxxxxxx. y xxxxxxxxxxxxxmediante la absorción de esta última por la primera con disolución sin liquidación de la sociedad absorbida, y la transmisión en bloque de su patrimonio a favor de la Sociedad absorbente, que adquiere por sucesión universal todos los derechos y obligaciones de la Sociedad absorbida con efecto contable el 1 de Enero de 2010. Estas circunstancias deben ser consideradas al comparar la cuentas anuales de 2010 y 2009.
El informe de gestión adjunto del ejercicio 2010 contiene las explicaciones que los administradores consideran oportunas sobre la situación de la Sociedad, la evolución de sus negocios y sobre otros asuntos y no forma parte integrante de las cuentas anuales. Hemos verificado que la información contable que contiene el citado informe de gestión concuerda con la de las cuentas anuales del ejercicio 2010. Nuestro trabajo como auditores se limita a la verificación del informe de gestión con el alcance mencionado en este mismo párrafo y no incluye la revisión de información distinta de la obtenida a partir de los registros contables de la Sociedad.
