Bio
Medical translator. I have a MA in language studies at Göteborg university, Sweden as well long medical working experience as a nurse. Since spring 2008, I have been involved as a translator and proofreader of medical terminology from English into Swedish, in the Swedish Snomed CT project. Except for this large terminology project, I have also translated in some other terminology projects. Except for various texts in medicine and health, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and medical products, I have also translated and proofread texts in tourism, general technology, skin care, material for opticians and art. Furtermore, I have also proofread study books in anatomy and nursing in Swedish for nurse students. I primarily translate from English but also from Danish into Swedish. I am interested in the fields of medicine, health, medical devices, medical products, pharmaceuticals, tourism, cosmetics and beauty, food, textile, art and general texts. I have Trados Studio 2014. I am a member of SFÖ, the Swedish Association of Professional Translators.
