Source text - English The expert opinion and instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – DOTI for increasing the security of the building necessitate more reliable and trustworthy protection of the underground entrance and space under the square from a potential terrorist act.
Granting us the right to use and secure the underground entrance and the adjoining parking lot in keeping with article 12, paragraph 2 of the Law for Municipal Property will assure the security of the whole building, the space under the square and the nearby buildings.
Translation - Bulgarian Експертните оценки и препоръки на МВР-ДОТИ за повишаване на сигурността на сградата, налагат по-надеждна и сигурна охрана на подземния вход и площадното пространство от евентуален терористичен акт.

Днес, когато страната ни вече е част от Европейския съюз, образованието се превръща в изключително актуален национален приоритет, който трябва да осигури европейското бъдеще и просперитета на младите хора.
За мен е чест и удоволствие да Ви поканя на церемонията, с която академичната общност на Нов български университет ще отбележи началото на 2007/2008 учебна година и на която най-изявените студенти и преподаватели ще бъдат отличени с почетния знак на университета.
Translation - English This academic year once again thousands of newly accepted students will start their education in the Bulgarian universities, in the majors they want to develop their knowledge. I am sure that this year we again shall be able to inflame the creative spirit of our students, to help them give rein to their thoughts and imagination. It is our bounden duty to help them and to encourage them by giving them knowledge they need, skills and self-confidence.
Today, when our country is already a part of the EU, education becomes a matter of extremely important national priority, which should provide European future and prosperity for the young people.
