Most of the time I worked as a freelance interpreter/translator from/to English-Russian / Russian -English or translating and interpreting were in my job description. I interpreted during high level government meetings as well as during conferences, workshops and press conferences. I translated various type documents: loan agreements, memorandum of understandings, reports, information brochures, contracts and etc.I am a native Russian speaker and my English is near native. I have experience in translating diplomas and certificates from Uzbek into English.

I worked as public and media relations specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), a major International Financial Institution, aiming at improving the welfare of people in Asia and the Pacific Region. I served as a focal point for a variety of outreach activities in Uzbekistan’s Resident Mission of the ADB. My job included translating various documents related to the ADB activity as well as interpretation at the press conferences and the meetings between the government and ADB. This work required good written and verbal language skills. I expertly translated news releases to/from English and Russian with a level of quality that provided clear and concise information for easier understanding of a variety of readers. I was the editor and author of a quarterly newsletter in English and weekly and monthly reports. As freelance interpreter/ translator I worked with a number of international organizations, like UNESCO, UNDP, UNFPA, JICA, ADB and worked with a number of private companies and individuals
