Article 1 - Hiring - Engagement
The Employee is hired as France and Benelux Countries Sales Manager, from Monday 13th June 2011, as an executive position.
In the case the two parts would agree with a beginning before this date, then an additional clause will be signed by both.
This contract is concluded under the positive results of hiring medical visit.
This contract will start with a 4 months trial period. This period is renewable once for 3 months.
Any suspension of the Contract which may occur during the trial period (illness, leave etc.) shall extend the duration of such period, which must correspond to actual work.
The Employee agrees to comply with the specific rules applying within the position of France and Benelux Countries Sales Manager in the company.
The Employee represents and warrants that he is free from any contractual undertaking with regard to another employer.

Source text - English Elumelu Calls for Diversification of NSE Stocks

Managing Director of United Bank for Africa (UBA Plc) Mr Tony Elumelu, has stressed the need to diversify the stock profile of the Nigeria Sock Exchange as a way of reviving investors’ confidence and bolstering the country’s economy.
Elumelu spoke at the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Africa, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he was listed as a discussant in a session that also featured the Director-General of the exchange, Dr. Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke.
“I think there are a couple of things we need to do to achieve that,” he said in response to the question of how the Nigerian capital market can regain its verve.
“One of these is to ensure a higher level of transparency. Of course we do have transparency, what we need is a higher level of that. We need to commend the effort of CSCS, but we can do a lot more. We need to ensure that the stock brokers are better regulated like the banking industry. I think we need to also encourage the liquidity of stocks in the market.
“Most importantly, we have a dearth of stocks in the market. There are companies that government should deliberately encourage to be listed. Look at the telecommunications companies in the country; even if it’s two and a half or five per cent of MTN, Glo or Zain that is put on the market, it will enhance its capacity. The same applies to the oil companies. There are some countries that insist you can’t own more than 40 per cent, but here it’s a free market. There is no problem with that, but we’re just saying let us encourage these businesses to come to the market. It will help.
“When you have stocks spread across sectors like banking, telecommunications, technology and oil and gas, the market would be diversified and can thus attract more people. The federal government should also look at some government enterprises because it will also engender transparency in those enterprises. A percentage of NNPC, NPA and some other state-owned corporations should be put on the stock exchange,” he said.
Elumelu does not however think it should be accomplished through a state policy. “It should be through encouragement. I believe if Nigerian Communications Commission should call its operators and inform them of the need to deepen the Nigerian capital market and say, for instance, ‘we want you to participate and this is how we expect you to participate,’ they would conform.”

Elumelu s’est exprimé au Forum Economique Mondial (WEF) sur l’Afrique, à Dar es Salaam en Tanzanie, où il faisait partie des intervenants à une séance à laquelle participait aussi le Directeur Général de la bourse, le Dr. Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke. « Je pense que nous devons faire deux choses pour y arriver » dit-il en réponse à la question de savoir comment le marché du Nigéria pouvait retrouver sa vigueur.
« L’une d’entre elles est de garantir un haut niveau de transparence, Bien sûr nous sommes déjà transparents, mais nous devons l’être davantage. Nous devons commander l’effort du CSCS mais nous devons faire beaucoup plus. Nous devons nous assurer que les courtiers soient mieux régulés comme la banque. Je pense que nous devons aussi encourager la liquidité des titres sur le marché.
« Plus important encore, nous manquons de titres sur le marché. Le gouvernement devrait délibérément encourager certaines entreprises à entrer en bourse. Regardez les entreprises de télécommunications dans le pays ; même si seulement 2.5% ou 5% de MTN, Glo ou Zain sont mis sur le marché, cela améliorerait sa capacité. Il en est de même pour les entreprises pétrolières. Certains pays insistent sur le fait qu’il ne faut pas détenir plus de 40%, mais le marché est libre. Cela ne pose aucun problème, mais je dis juste encourageons ces entreprises à entrer en bourse. Ça aidera. « Lorsque vous avez des titres étalés sur les différents secteurs comme la banque, les télécommunications, la technologie, le pétrole et le gaz, le marché se diversifie et cela attire davantage les investisseurs. Le gouvernement fédéral devrait aussi penser à certaines des entreprises publiques parce que cela générerait aussi de la transparence dans ces entreprises. Il serait bon qu’un pourcentage de la NNPC, de la NPA et d’autres corporations détenues par l’Etat entre aussi en bourse, » dit-il.
Elumelu ne pense cependant pas que ceci devrait être accompli via une politique d’Etat mais « via des encouragements. Je crois que si la Commission à la Communication nigérienne appelait ses opérateurs et les informait du besoin d’approfondir le marché capital nigérien et disait par exemple, « nous voudrions que vous participiez et voici comment vous pouvez participer », ils devraient suivre.»

In theory these targets are realistic and whilst they may force the E.U. to reduce grain exports in the future (Is that a good or a bad thing ?) they should, again in theory, not limit our capacity within the E.U. to supply our own food and feed industries at the same time as a growing Bio Fuel Industry. What it does mean to our supply chain is that the E.U. cereal farmers have another option open to them, another source of revenue. The E.U. has chosen a step by step approach to the growth of its domestic Bio Fuel Industry. The first renewable energy E.U. directive included a target for the incorporation of bio fuels in both petrol and diesel of 5,75% by the year 2010 with an interim objective of 2% in 2005.

Tim Biskup’s totem is stacked with distorted fauna—castles, dogs, space men, octopi—rendered in flat planes, droopy shapes, and crisp lines reminiscent of beatnik-era animation. It is a fermented theme park, a Bizarro-world Disneyland, populated by mutant critters and incessantly chirping birds perched on spindly legs.
Biskup has spun his talent for flipped-out fairy tales into a dizzying selection of consumables: from the clothing line Gama-Go to animation backgrounds, decks of cards, Japanese capsule toys, lavish vinyl figures ... oh, and, of course, his stunning paintings.
Translation - French FRELES AILES ROUGES TOMBANTES, un monstre orange grimaçant se tient sur la trompe levée d’un éléphant noir lui-même accroupi sur l’arrondi de la corne d’une girafe bleue inquiète. Le totem de Tim Biskup est constitué de l’empilement d’une faune déformée – châteaux, chiens, personnages de l’espace, pieuvres - rendu par des aplats de couleur, des formes flasques et des lignes brisées rappelant l’époque des films d’animation beatnik. Biskup a aussi mis à profit son talent pour les contes de fées un peu dingues pour produire un choix étourdissant de biens de consommation : de la ligne de vêtements Gama-Go à l’animation de fond, des jeux de cartes aux personnages en vinyle, en passant par les jouets de capsules japonais …oh, et bien-sûr, ses peintures étonnantes.
