I am a native Danish speaker, and a trained state-certified translator (English/Danish). I have worked as a freelance translator in most periods since I finished my MA in English in 1996 from Aarhus University (the Aarhus School of Business). From 2004-2007, I lived and worked in Wellington, NZ.

I work primarily for translation agencies, but I also take on assignments directly from businesses and private individuals. My translation experience covers a wide range of fields: Websites, market research, marketing, tourism, health and beauty products, cooking, food and diary, food labels, safety data sheets, medicine (general, clinical trials, patient information leaflet (PILs), summary of product characteristics (SPCs), press releases.

My aim as a translator and as a proof-reader is to always deliver the highest quality, which to me is achieved for instance when a translation does not read like a translation, but as an independent text in its own right with a language that is natural, fluent and idiomatic. I am reliable, careful, as well as meticulous and conscientious.

I am a member of the Danish Association of State-Authorized Translators and Interpreters.

As a state-certified translator, I am also able to provide sworn certified translations with legal validity.
