Now I have to use a much richer language than our dearly beloved second languge (with all its multiplicity of varieties) as so adequately illustrated by our friend Per Egil (with whom we had the added pleasure and privilege of sharing the company of on our train journey back into the city centre!).

And to Wenche and Per! Well, our first ever powwow will certainly be one to remember with pleasure and gratitude, mostly due to the two of you. Thank you so much for your sincere hospitality and friendship, and for sharing your beautiful home and garden with us. Jeanne and I both feel privileged and enriched by getting to know you. Thanks, cobbers, as we say down under in NZ!

And to everyone else, met again (from Budapest) or for the first time. We hope it won't be too long again, and next time we'll plan to be there in time for the Friday Beer!! (free translation!).

Our contribution is a little late because of a delayed flight this evening to Værnes, but it comes warmly all the same.
