Never heard of it...

P.S. Regarding QA (proofreading/editing/reviewing or whatever you call it) I work regularly with 2 revisers (one internal and one external) and though I prefer translating I also occasionally revise others’ work and none of us has ever heard of LISA.

I know that a "metric" (noun) something to do with measuring. However, quality assurance sounds like something that would be rather difficult to measure. In other words, it sounds a bit new-age and/or business speak to me.
As a freelancer, my quality assurance usually consists of showing my draft to a competent friend or colleague and asking if they think it's up to scratch.

Are you writing an article to explain it once the poll is closed ? (too lazy to spontaneously look up for it )

It is an attempt to quantify and compare texts Feb 6, 2018

It is explained here

http://producthelp.sdl.com/SDL_TMS_2011/en/Creating_and_Maintaining_Organizations/Managing_QA_Models/LISA_QA_Model.htm

It is one of those systems loved by agencies - you can add up how many commas are missing or misplaced, discuss mistranslations and lots more.

My feeling is that it is not a lot of practical use.

No two translations are the same, and translators are individuals. You can use it as a rough measure of whether a certain individual has understood the source text and/or is able to write correctly in the target language.

What you do with it after that is a good question.

It may or may not be more useful when it comes to DTP and the rest of the setup - I do not know enough about it.

LISA Feb 7, 2018

I think it's an abbrivation for a headline that's related to the topic you're working on
