Hi,
I have a friend working in a very well known and big translation company there for a gross salary of 2000 euro/month(around 1600 net salary).
There are many banks in Luxembourg who also have in-house translator. In those cases the salary is around 2800 euros/month (gross).

In 1991, I asked the equivalent of 3000 euro gross at that same well-known company. E...s...pt ? At the time, they did not consider it too much. Apparently, translator's salaries have gone down instead of up. A sign of the appreciation of the profession? In Luxemburg salaries are the highest in Europe (if you don't take into account The City and the Frankfurter financial Viertel) and the difference between gross and net is about 13%.
