Summary:LinkedIn is the number one business social network out there. In 2011, they passed the 100 millions users bar. As freelancers, it has become clear now that you need to be in there as well. But how? Get some keys in this webinar to take your career and your business to the next level!
Whether you are a freelancer looking for translation jobs and networking opporutnites (aren't we all? ;), a new translator starting in the industry, or looking for an employed job (whether in a translation agency or in a whole other industry), you can't ignore LinkedIn (anymore).

But how to make sure you're doing the best use of this very powerful tool without spending too much time on it? Join us in this webinar where you'll learn about LinkedIn good practices, etiquette and some powerful strategies and tips that will get you to the next LinkedIn level.

This course is part of a series of 3 webinars. If you register for all 3, you will receive a free private 30 minutes consulting session on your Social Media strategy/presence over the phone (or Skype) - date to be arranged privately via email with the trainer.
The other 2 courses of the series are:
-Why you should seriously consider Facebook and Google+ marketing (see here)
- Boost your use of Twitter (see here)

This offer is valid for registration at all 3 live webinars only (does not apply to videos purchasing afterwards).
It does not apply anymore after the first webinar of the series has been held.
Target audience
This course is aimed at freelancers, both those starting in the translation industry (LinkedIn is a must when you start) as well as experienced freelancers who want to expand their clients database and /or enhance their use of the site and their online presence.
Learning objectives
- The keys to a solid LinkedIn profile
- The LinkedIn etiquette and its dos' and don'ts
- How to maximise chances to appear as high as possible in a LinkedIn search
- Some advanced and discreet LinkedIn features that can be useful to freelance translators and job-seekers
- No particular prerequisites. Basic knowledge of LinkedIn a plus but not a must.

However, feel free to check out the video of my previous webinar on Social Media Marketing general dos' and don'ts as it can give you some basics for this webinar. The video (on demand) is available here (feedback from attendees available here )
