I am a native speaker of Finnish, though I currently reside in the Netherlands. I am a professional writer (since 2000) and a published author. My primary interest and experience is in medicine, but I also used to write for a computer magazine for six years. I also wrote for an interior decoration magazine for several years. Currently I contribute to music, vegan and health/fitness magazines in Finland. Finnish academic publisher Finn Lectura has published two medical textbooks and a Twitter guidebook from me. My debut novel was published in Finland in October 2011.

I started doing translation work in 2008. I have translated e.g. software and games, press releases, websites, subtitles (for instructional videos, a documentary film and an indie movie), T-shirt texts, Google ads, other ad copy (including product labels, pharmaceutical ads and brochures for medical devices), manuals, medical reports and a language textbook. I have also done some transcription.

I have been creating web content since 1996 and also know SEO. I have done SEO-related work in both Finnish and English.
