Bio

I am a freelance translator living in Sweden. Languages have always been my passion but I also have a solid background in natural science and technology. I have been working as a software developer. I specialize in Physics, Mathematics, Earth and Environmental Sciences but I will also do general translation tasks.

I have a Master’s Degree in science (Mathematics, Physics and Astrophysics) from Stockholm University where I have also studied French (1.5 years), Earth Sciences (about 2 years) and some Biology and History. I have recently translated a 350 page unpublished comedy from Swedish into English as well as applications for research funding and thesis abstracts into English.

As a person, I am very thorough and have an eye for detail. I am well-read and can easily familiarize myself with different subjects areas. I am interested in translating from English or French into Swedish but I can also perform proof-reading, editing and localization.
