Bio

I am a 49 years old freelance translator and proofreader from Helsinki, Finland. For the last four years, I have mainly been doing AV translations and quality assurance. I also do text translations + QA.

Earlier in my life, I worked as a senior editor for MikroPC magazine and as a news reporter for Computerworld Finland for ten years. Because of my background in journalism, I have a strong command of the Finnish language. Through working in IT publications, I know and understand computer terminology and technical concepts well.

By training, I am a registered nurse (medical and surgical care), which gives me a knowledge to translating medical English.
