Source text - English 7.4 Style of options
Based on when the buyer is allowed to exercise the option, options are classified into two types:
A. European options: European options can be exercised by the buyer of the option only on the expiration date. In India, all the currency options in OTC market are of European type.
B. American options: American options can be exercised by the buyer any time on or before the expiration date. Currently American options are not allowed in currencies in India.
7.5 Moneyness of an option
The buyer of call option would exercise his right to buy the underlying asset only if the spot price of underlying asset is higher than the strike price at the maturity of the contract. Similarly, the buyer of a put option would exercise his right to sell the underlying asset only if the spot price of underlying asset is lower than the strike price at the maturity of the contract (assuming zero transaction charge and zero option premium). If these costs are included, the decision of option buyer would take into account these costs also.

The Official Secrets Act 1923 is India's anti-espionage act held over from British colonisation. It states clearly that any action which involves helping an enemy state against India. It also states that one cannot approach, inspect, or even pass over a prohibited government site or area. According to this Act, helping the enemy state can be in the form of communicating a sketch, plan, model of an official secret, or of official codes or passwords, to the enemy. The disclosure of any information that is likely to affect the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security of the State, or friendly relations with foreign States, is punishable by this act.
Translation - Marathi शासकिय गुपित कायदा (भारत)
शासकिय गुपित कायदा १९२३ हा भारतातील प्रति हेरगिरी कायदा असून ब्रिटिशांच्या वसाहतीपासून तो अस्तित्वात आहे. ह्यात असे स्पष्टपणे म्हटले गेले आहे की भारताच्या राज्याच्या विरोधातील कोणत्याही शत्रूला मदत करणाऱ्याच्या विरोधात कार्यवाही केली जाईली. ह्यात असे सुद्धा म्हटले आहे की, कुणालाही सरकारी जागेवर किंवा भागात जाता येणार नाही किंवा तपासणी सुद्धा करता येणार नाही. ह्या कायद्यानुसार शत्रुला चित्रस्वरूपात, शासकिय संकेत किंवा पासवर्ड स्वरूपात राज्याने मदत केल्यास ती ग्राह्य धरली जाईल. ह्या माहितीमुळे जर भारताचा आधिपत्य आणि विविधतेवरती परिणाम होणार असेल , तर राज्याची सुरक्षा किंवा विदेशी राज्यांशी असलेली मैत्रीची नाती, ह्या कायद्यानुसार दंडनीय ठरू शकतात.
