How did I get here?

I fell in love with France and, most importantly, the French language when I was young. Studying translation was a logical next step for me, and so was joining in my second passion, the English language. During my study years, I was able to improve my translation skills by studying at several universities in Belgium and France where I acquired invaluable experience in translating and localizing all types of texts, as well as a near-native proficiency in both French and English. 

What I admire most in French is how even the most mundane sentences can sound beautiful if you know how to put a spin on them; what I appreciate in English is how open it is to any and all word puns. Every day, I try to transfer the French elegance and the English wit into Slovenian, my mother tongue that I love working with, mainly because of the endless possibilities of expressing the same thing using the wonderful openness of Slovenian phrases.
