Source text - English In this approach, the environmental attribute (soil stability, water quality, and so forth), is
considered as an input in the production function which relates the output of a particular
marketed good or service (for example agricultural production, fishing catches) to the inputs
necessary to produce it.
The production function will be of the type: Q = f (X,v)
where: X is the environmental attribute
v indicates the other inputs and factors.
The change in Q due to a small (unit) change in X is approximated by ϑQ/ϑX. The valuation of this change at the market price of the good Q can be assumed as an approximation of the value of
the unit change in the environmental quality X.
This consideration holds only if:
No other cost of production is incurred by the producers; and
No change in the price of the good X are induced by the change in the quantity of the good (the producers are price takers).
Translation - Indonesian Pada pendekatan ini, atribut lingkungan (stabilitas tanah, kualitas air, dan lain sebagainya), dianggap sebagai input dalam rumus produksi yang menghubungkan barang dagang atau layanan khusus (misalnya produksi pertanian, hasil tangkapan nelayan) kepada input tertentu untuk memproduksinya.
Rumus produksi untuk jenis ini: Q = f (X,v)
di mana: X merupakan atribut lingkungan
v menunjukkan input dan faktor lain.
Perubahan pada Q yang disebabkan oleh sebuah perubahan kecil (unit) dalam X dihitung dengan Q/X. Penilaian perubahan pada harga pasar dari barang Q ini dapat dianggap sebagai perhitungan nilai perubahan unit dalam kualitas lingkungan X.
Perbandingan ini hanya berlaku bila:
Tidak ada biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan oleh produsen; dan
Tidak ada perubahan harga barang X yang diakibatkan oleh perubahan jumlah barang (produsen adalah penerima harga).
