I was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, and live currently in Istanbul, Turkey. I moved here from Santa Barbara, California were I married my American wife. I use English and German like a native speaker (written and spoken form). I graduated in Chinese Studies at the University of Vienna and the University of Prague. When using a language, I maintain its naturalness by accurately combining it with its culture. This approach enables me to translate as thorough as needed (EN>GER , GER>EN, CHN>EN, CHN >GER) and to proofread/ edit documents, which have been translated into English or German, accurately.

I am able to translate efficiently in a fast pace (GER>EN and EN>GER up to 3,000 words/ day; CHN>EN and CHN>GER up to 2,000 words/ day) as well as proofread/ edit documents thoroughly (GER and EN up to 15,000 words/ day).
