▸ I spent 8 years studying life sciences (human genetics and then cancer biology) culminating in a PhD from a top university, followed by 10 years as a postdoctoral scientist... this means I understand science! I do not undertake projects unless I have perfect understanding of what I will be working on.
▸ I have received all my scientific education and training in English (spanning almost 2 decades), which means my English in science is as good as my Greek, if not better! So, I can be equally accurate and natural in both of my working languages.
▸ I have considerable experience in translating projects (more than 2 million words!) in medicine, biology and pharmaceutics, collaborating with major providers around the world for companies that are leaders in their markets.
▸I have excellent command of all major CAT tools, but more importantly, thanks to my background in cutting-edge research I can learn and adapt according to the needs of each client and project.
▸ Working in a team in various large-scale European projects in the past has conferred excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.
