My translation career started in 2002 and have
translated mainly television programs from German and English to Finnish for
Finland's national broadcasting company Yle and Finnish commercial television
station MTV3. I also worked for a short time for The Finnish National
Opera and Ballet where I translated foreign vocals for the singers and
the libretto of The Abduction from the Seraglio. After 2002 I've also raised my
family, made lot of volunteer work as well as worked as a job seeking and
online counselor. 

My strongest skills are translating and
subtitling (timing) first of all from German to Finnish, proofreading
and editing Finnish texts and cultural knowledge of German speaking countries.
I have also very good customer service as well as cooperation skills. I'm a
curious personality and want to understand the subject matter I'm working on it
where, in turn, my information retrieval skills are of great value.
