I grew up bilingual in Bulgarian and English. I learned German in high school and Japanese in university. As part of my bachelor's degree programme in Japanese Studies there was a heavy and continuous focus on studying various general translation and teaching methods. We had a bit of experience in both fields and while I didn't quite take to the work of a teacher, I developed a passion for translating and have been doing it as a freelancer ever since. Now I have over three years experience.

My other great passions are creating art, reading and writing and taking care of plants and animals. I enjoy reading not only poetry and prose, but a wide array of non-fiction educational content, as well. I love learning new things and growing my knowledge in my fields of interest, which are: arts and crafts, art history, literature, psychology, fashion, video and board games, plant care and animal welfare, general science, linguistics, history (Bulgarian, British and Japanese especially), contemporary politics, human rights.
