I am a professionally trained English-Korean translator with a master's degree from the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. I had studied business management as an undergraduate at Korea University.

I had worked as an in-house translator at McKinsey Korea for one year and the Institute for Basic Science for 13 months. Working at a top business management consulting company, I had acquired extensive experiences in various industries and fields, including manufacturing (electronics, chemicals, materials, tire, and cement), retail (cosmetics, duty-free, F&B, and fashion), digital and IT, energy (renewables, electric vehicles, power system), finance (payment and settlement, credit card, insurance, and bank), etc.

Since I made the transition to freelancing, my major clients include McKinsey Korea, UK-based luxury fashion shopping site Matchesfashion.com, and Korean newspaper publisher Dong-A Ilbo. I also worked with Estée Lauder Companies for their fragrance brand Jo Malone and haircare brand Aveda. I am proud to say that I have never missed a deadline both as an in-house and freelance translator and my clients have been appreciative of my attention to detail.
