Translation - English A load controller comprising:
a radio communication device that includes a transmitter and a receiver and communicates using radio waves;
a control signal generator that is connected to the transmitter so as to generate a control signal for turning on and off a load or adjusting a load level; and
a load control unit that is connected to the receiver so as to control the load according to the control signal transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver, wherein
at least one of the transmitter and the receiver includes a small loop antenna formed approximately vertical to a mounting surface of a circuit board, a ground pattern formed on the mounting surface of the circuit board so as to function as a dipole antenna, and a radio circuit unit mounted on the circuit board, and
when a conductor approaches the load controller, the load controller compensates for an increase in a resonance frequency of the small loop antenna due to the conductor by decreasing the resonance frequency of the dipole antenna to thereby prevent or suppress impedance mismatch among the small loop antenna, the dipole antenna, and the radio circuit unit.
