Source text - English During his stay in Paris around the turn of the century, Valdemar Schønheyder Møller experimented with painting landscapes viewed directly against the sun.
In the forest view from Fontainebleau he appears to have gone further than in any other painting. He has looked towards the sun between the trees, but the sunlight has taken on such brightness that the lowest parts of the tree trunks appear to dissolve in a sea of fire and lose all their material substance.
Translation - Polish Podczas swojego pobytu w Paryżu, na przełomie wieku, Valdmar Schønheyder Møller eksperymentował z malowaniem pejzaży oglądanych bezpośrednio pod słońce.
W leśnym krajobrazie Fontainebleau wydaje się, że poszedł o krok dalej niż w innych swoich pracach. Patrzył on w stronę słońca pomiędzy drzewami, jednak słońce przybierało tak na jasności, że najniższe części pni drzew rozpuszczają się w morzu ognia i tracą całą swoją materialną istotę.
