Hi!

I am Francesca, Japanese to Italian & English to Italian Freelance Translator, with 5 years expertise, specialized in Videogames & Software, Marketing and Medical translations!

Member of JAT (Japan Association of Translators) and AITI (Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters)

2021-2023 MEXT researcher and Ministry of Education of Japan scholarship awardee, specialized in English and Japanese languages and Literatures.

My Experience

- VIDEO GAMES & SOFTWARE: I have worked on more than 20 videogames for different platforms (PC & VR, PS, Switch, Smartphone), ranging from Simulation, Action RPG, Horror, MMORPG to Puzzle Games and so on. Approx. words translated: 350000
Software: I have translate website and desktop application interfaces, manuals UI/UX, privacy policies, terms and conditions Approx. words translated: 150000.

- MARKETING: I handle the marketing copywrite and localization of the products of my clients in the aforementioned fields, on top of tourism, food and fashion industries. Approx. words translated: 100000

- MEDICAL: I translate for pharmaceutical companies and health organitations, and I have worked on medical terminologies, device manuals and package leaflets. Approx. words translated: 115000

My Education

Between 2019 and 2023, I have studied for three years in Tokyo at Sophia
University and Waseda University as researcher on Japanese Literature.
I started a PhD program at Waseda Univ, Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences but it is currently on hold.

I have completed in December 2019 my Master Degree in
Japanese and English Literature and Cultures, at the University of Naples "L'Orientale".

I do have English IELTS 8 Certification and Japanese JLPT N2.
