Background
When looking for a translator, most people say, "Tell us about your experience". I usually tell them that I have been doing this for 6 years. The truth is, I translated my first book into Polish when I was 11. The quality was questionable but we all start somewhere! It was then that I contracted a serious case of love for translation and it's been growing ever since.
On a more serious note, I started translating professionally during my student years at Jagiellonian University, which allowed me to gain experience while learning the theories of language and translation. In the course of studies, I also had a chance to complete an internship at a translation agency. So far, I have done translation and interpretation both for large companies and individual clients, including interpretation on a chemical production line, and translation of dietary supplement descriptions and research papers.
