Born and raised in a small town by the Italian Alps, I grew up wanting to speak foreign languages as I have an example in my family who inspired me to do it: my dad. He only speaks Italian and his struggle communicating while traveling for business and pleasure always made me very sad. For this reason, I started studying French at the age of 6 then English and Spanish in middle school. 

I attended the Catholic University of Milan where I specialized in Foreign Languages for International Relations due to my love for English/Spanish and International Politics. During my university years, I have been hired as my dad’s interpreter for his business trips and meetings while I also translated contracts, deals and agreements for his textile companies. 

I’m also sure my 10 years spent in UK and USA working in hospitality / food and wine industries could  help me perfecting and enriching my vocabulary and slangs. 

I'm a certified sommelier in Italy and Pilates instructor in USA, so I'm familiar with the terminology of these two fields too.
