I've loved languages all my life, so now I'm getting my Master's Degree in Philology and Translation in such language pairs as English-Ukrainian and vice versa. Having grown up in a bilingual environment, I am a native of Ukrainian and Russian. My English proficiency level is Advanced (C1).

As to my professional experience, I have been working as a translator of written texts from Ukrainian into English since 2019. My job has mostly included news articles for a university website, but I am also experienced with technical texts (oil and gas, specifically, as my university program includes courses in this field) and general translation. I've attended lectures on the oil and gas industry basics and completed courses in writing and editing. 

My other interests include photography, music, art and social sciences. I have participated in a course about feminism and social justice. Thus, I am familiar with the terminology in these fields and can ensure quality translation of related texts.

I am interested in practising IT-related translation (especially in the localization field), too!
