La visita consentirà ai partecipanti di conoscere la storia del Gulag e delle repressioni staliniste, di conoscere la storia raccontata dai sopravvissuti ai lager e delle storie di vita dei prigionieri. Experienced translator provides professional translation services from German, Russian and English into Italian.
From the University of Macerata I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Linguistic Mediation (English, German and Russian) and a Master's degree in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation, choosing Russian and German as languages of specialisation. I then chose to improve and refine my knowledges in translation at the Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori (Higher School for Interpreters and Translators) in Pescara, successfully obtaining two Higher Education Diplomas in Sectorial Translation in the legal-commercial and technical fields.
My academic studies in translation, interpreting and subtitling for international relations focused on analysing the systems and the specialised terminologies of several sectors: legal-commercial, technical, advertising, diplomatic, medical, tourism and web communication. This was complemented by the learning to use CATtools (SDLTrados 2017-2019, WordFast, MemoQ) and subtitling programs (EZtitles).
I exploit my passion for foreign languages with great curiosity and attention to the details by analyzing the innumerable functions and nuances of words and conducting in-depth terminological researches with the aim of finding the equivalences and expressions that best suit the context and the target culture.
