Bio
I have been working as a translator and interpreter for the Russian and English languages for almost 30 years. My specialties include automation technology (CNC, PLC), machine tool building, general machine building, electronics/electrical engineering, software manuals, user interfaces acc. to the GUI standard, medical technology, textile machinery, printing technology, and automotive industry. I translate both from German into English / Russian; my translations from German are corrected by native speakers. I studied at the Leipzig university from 1981 to 1985. First, I have worked as an interpreter and translator in the export department at NUMERIK "Karl Marx", then at SIEMENS Chemnitz. That's why, I have special experience in the fields of automation and machine tool building. I have been working as a freelancer since 1992; in addition, I have my own translation agency offering approx. 20 languages, in particular, such "standard" languages, as English, Russian, Polish, Czech, but thanks to good contacts to freelancers, also Chinese, Japanese, ...
