Interestingly, many of the ectodermal features noted in CS, including papillomas, pachydermatoglyphia, palmoplantar keratoderma and acanthosis nigricans, have been reported as signs of cutaneous paraneoplastic syndromes. Pachydermatoglyphia has also been referred to as “tripe palms” based on the similarity to the rugose appearance of the cow’s stomach. Tripe palms are characterized clinically by an exaggerated ridging pattern on the palms and fingertips and histologically by marked epidermal hyperkeratosis, acanthosis, papillomatosis and hypergranulosis. - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4063554/
