More specifically, the claims being waived include any and all claims, rights, demands or causes of action, that were or could have been brought in the litigation for the settlement period of between September 17, 1997 and October 31, 2002, under any federal, state or local statutory or common law, including, but not limited to, California Labor Code; the applicable wage orders of the California Industrial Welfare Commission; California Business and Professions Code section 17200 et seq.; California Civil Code; the Fair Labor Standards Act 29 U.S.C. section 201 et seq.; and the law of contract, torts and equity.
