Bio
I'm an American, born of American parents, but grew up in central Brazil with 5 other siblings, where I attended Brazilian Private School. We grew up speaking English at home, but Portuguese everywhere else. As a result, I have been able to retain both languages without an accent.

My undergraduate work is in Environmental Biology and Anthropology, and my Masters degree is in Bible and Intercultural Studies. I have been translating "on the fly" since I was a teenager in Brazil and in the US...just didn't get paid for it as a kid.

I lived in Brazil as an adult for three years, from 2011 to 2014.

I currently reside in Knoxville, TN, and have a full-time job, but enjoy using my fluency in Portuguese wherever it is needed.
