Bio
I have been a freelance interpreter in Australia for 4 years and previously worked in the banking industry for 4 years. I have assisted the South Australian Government to interpret for the visiting Chinese delegations. Moreover, my freelance work with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection enables me to gain broader knowledge in legal, medical, political and social fields. My qualifications include Master of Interpreting and Translation Studies (major in Conference/Simultaneous Interpreting) from an AIIC recommended university; Master of Arts (International Studies); and Bachelor of Economics and Social Sciences. I am looking for Conference/Simultaneous jobs in the English/Chinese pair. I have also passed Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Level 1 and am fluent in Cantonese.
